Chwast produced this screenprinted poster showing the stylized figure of a running man, his body lettered with the names of a huge number of food items, for Serigraphie Noblet, a print studio founded in New York in 1989 by master screenprinter Jean-Yves Noblet. The studio established its name by printing and publishing fine prints by such artists as Roy Lichtenstein, Chuck Close, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Kate Shepherd, and Carroll Dunham. Chwast used a similar idea in his design for the Polish Poster Museum in 2000, in which the head of a man is lettered with the names of the museum’s activities. In the final version of the design, Chwast’s name is printed just above the figure’s left foot.
