Glaser’s stark composition shows the pale head of Jerry Garcia, the lead guitarist and vocalist of The Grateful Dead, looming, ghostlike, from a black ground. It promotes a 2000 retrospective of his own work, the first for a living designer, at AIGA National Design Center in New York.
