In response to the terrorist attacks on New York City on September 11, 2011, Milton Glaser designed a poster featuring a modified version of his famous I [Heart] New York logo; this had formed part of a 1977 advertising campaign to promote tourism in the state of New York (the campaign also included a song and this slogan). The original logo remains intimately associated with the city and continues to appear on everything from posters to T-shirts, baby clothes, and key chains.
