The dinner plate in the style of an artist’s palette (one of his favorite motifs) with blobs of colorful food representing paint under the tagline “Chwast After Dinner” was Chwast’s witty way of promoting a talk he gave at the Advertising Club of Delaware in 1984. It is one of many designs he has made for posters advertising his own appearances at countless advertising and design organizations around the country.
