This is one of many posters that Glaser designed for the New York Board of Tourism, and one of several promoting winter festivals in New York State. This whimsical composition, like something from a fairytale, is dominated by a woman with sinuous red locks and a flowing medieval-style robe as she ice-skates in front of the mountains; their shape is echoed by that of her headdress. The poster also features the Board of Tourism’s slogan “I Love New York”; in 1976, Glaser had created the iconic state logo for its new campaign featuring a heart in place of the word “Love.”
