Glaser designed this 1998 poster for the War Resisters League in celebration of its first 75 years. The organization, now more than one hundred years old, was founded in New York as the successor to the Anti-Enlistment League established during World War I. A colorful grid both draws the eye and suggests barbed wire and prison bars; it forms the ground to the small central image of a primitive stone tomb in a bleak landscape labeled “War,” a visual reinforcement of the poster’s message: “Bury It/War.”
