This is one of many posters Glaser designed for Columbia Records (the first was his famous poster for Bob Dylan’s Greatest Hits of 1966). This one, showing a portrait of the German Baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach above his signature and a landscape with geometric perspective lines, is also filtered through a dazzling psychedelic lens. The poster was intended to be packaged with the album The Briggs Bach Book (a detail from it also appeared on the album cover), a record featuring the concert organist E. Power Briggs and released by Columbia in 1971.
